  • Good roast duck. I would say it’s lightly seasoned compared to the crispier skinned roast duck I’m used to in the SF Bay Area. It is good in its own right, though. I liked their cha siu. Excellent black chicken herb soup.

  • Best Restaurant in HK for sure! As a binging wife of an expat, this place is my comfort place. Amazing food, great service, always welcoming. Manager Chris is extremely kind and speak English really well. Whatever you eat, (and you cannot fail) have spicy vegetable stirfry with it.

  • One of the best restaurants in HK for classic dishes.

  • One of the finest and best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. I’ll never forgot the meal I had here and some day I will return to eat here multiple times in one trip. They sold out of the Peking duck, and my very friendly waiter recommended the char sui, it was absolutely heaven. The n that moment I realized that all the char shu I have eaten in my life was crap compared to the momentous chat shu they can mastered. The blow torch it with a delicious apple plum sauce ( it’s some kind of fruit). Do not pass on this place. Make a reservation. Other authentic Hong Kong food. I will return for the dim sum also next time.

  • Great cantonese food at affordable prices. BBQ pork is a must try. The tea smoked chicken is so good that all 5 of us agreed it was the best dish of the night. We also had the crab rice in bamboo steamer, fish head soup and Chinese broccoli with Malay malacan sauce. All the dishes are tasty and have good ingredients for real. The only disappointment was the jinwah ham and pork knuckle dish that was supposed to be an old recipe, the meat was really chewy and way too salty. Service for the night was decent. All in all, I will no doubt go back to sample more dishes!

  • Joining the waitlist for lunch dim sum at Tai Wai Dining Room, we were lucky to get the call today and have a spot at 1:30pm. Pre-ordered the $228 char siu, siu mai, beef ball dumpling, steam satay bone marrow, assorted delicacies and supreme broth dumpling, coconut and egg yolk cake. The cha siu is definitely a highlight, 6 large pieces, and the waiter uses the fire gun to heat up a bit on the table. I like the satay bone marrow. It is a very traditional dim sum that hardly finds in Hong Kong. Actually, there is a bit of disappointment on the egg yolk cake because it is way too soft. Overall, it is highly recommended as Michelin recommended!

  • The char siu is bit too burned. The roasted goose is quite nice. The fried rice is mediocre. The dessert is not so sweet. The chicken and the minced meat are nice! In general, the food quality is not bad!

  • Lovely dim sum. I highly recommend the black sesame sweet rolls. Quick service. Generally there is a long line all the time, booking recommended. Despite the restaurant is very busy, staff are still very polite.
